Coaching Services

What is coaching?

The International Coach Federation defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” When clients explore and align who they are with what they want to do, they engage in life and work with energy, courage, and focus. They discover their next direction, chart the path in that direction, and take the journey into what is next.

Individual Coaching

One-to-one conversations virtually or in-person to explore what is most important to the client in a safe, confidential way. At Compass Coaching, Chip focuses on your strengths and values to guide real, lasting change in your life or work. Clients explore who they need to be in order to do what they want to do and then design actions to take that will help them integrate being and doing together.

Team Coaching

With Advanced Certification (ICF) and over 150 hours in team coaching, Chip brings exceptional skills to each coaching session with your team. Team coaching helps people work better together by building trust, improving communication, and aligning around shared goals in order to take on challenges with confidence. Chip will guide teams to tap into their collective strengths and create a more connected, effective way of working.

Group Coaching

Group coaching brings people together in a supportive space to learn from each other, explore goals, and grow through shared experiences. At Compass Coaching, Chip creates a collaborative environment where each person gains clarity, confidence, and new perspectives.

Assessment Services

The Integrative Enneagram creates self-awareness and uncovers the patterns of behavior that sub-consciously drive and motivate us to act in certain ways. Through coaching these patterns and motivations become more conscious and individuals are able to transcend them and develop richer, more supportive ways of being. Working with the Enneagram empowers individuals to take responsibility for their own behaviors and growth, from a greater understanding of why they act and react the way they do.

The Core Values Index (CVI) identifies what fulfills someone about the work they do, rather than determining whether or not they are capable of doing the work. The CVI reveals the core motivational drivers in a person, focusing on preferences instead of abilities or adaptability, that lead a person to seek the kind of work (aware or unaware) where they can make their highest contribution possible. Coaching can support clients to explore their motivational drivers and move them toward better vocational fulfillment.
